A local anaesthetic injection will be used to numb the area and the procedure will then be pain free. An incision on the skin around the edge of the areolas is made and the excess of skin is trimmed off. The wound is then closed using stitches and will be covered with a dressing.
Following the surgery, please remember to wear a bra day and night for three weeks. Scars tend to fade away after few months. The exact aftercare will be all explained to you on the day of surgery and sutures are usually removed after 7-10 days.
